Sound blaster x fi mb3 no supported audio device update#
The software worked fine with no problems before some Windows 10 update that probably changed something regarding the audio playback devices. This suite of driver and application has been updated and combined for your convenience. Tried installing new Realtek High Definition Audio drivers, tried reinstalling Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 and running it in Windows 7/8 compatibility mode, still the same.Ĭan someone please tell me why is this happening and is there any solution for this ? If I disable the playback device I'm using in Control panel - Audio, Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 opens successfully and I can navigate the user interface, but the software crashes immediately when I re-enable my playback device or any other playback device. The app opens and closes itself after 5 seconds.

I did not mess with my drivers or anything similar. It started to happen by itself after a Windows 10 update (Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, latest stable update, version 1709). This app Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 doesn't work anymore for some odd reason. I have a problem with Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 software which was bundled with my Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5 motherboard. Keep posting us with the status we will be glad to help you.

I recommend you to go to the computer manufacturer website and download the latest updated sound adapter driver for Windows 10 and install the same. If the above methods did not help to fix the issue, try the below method.

Once you are done installing the driver, restart the computer. Now click on Sound, video and game controllers to expand, right click on the device and click on uninstall. Press Windows key + X and select Device manager. I suggest you to go to the device manager and uninstall/reinstall the sound adapter driver and check.

If the issue still persist, try the below method.
